Here’s what you missed at the Big Island’s first car show of the year!
The event was held on Saturday, January 14th in Kailua-Kona at the Kealaheke High School.
There were about 20 motorcycles and about 130 cars, along with entertainment and good food. It was all for a good cause — a charity event for a young woman’s fight with stage 4 cancer.
Though my 2007 SL550 did not win the sports car class, it was a great opportunity to showcase to the Big Island folks our car club as many of those who stopped by to chat were not aware that there was even a Mercedes-Benz car club in Hawaii.
