3rd Annual Oktoberfest

Oktoberfest Returns to the Pali Golf Course for the Third Annual Okakopa Hoolaulea

3rd Annual Oktoberfest

Oktoberfest at the Pali Golf Course brings automobile enthusiasts together to raise money for Hawaii’s public schools.

The Third Annual Okakopa Hoolaulea, Hawaii’s largest car show and Oktoberfest celebration, will feature more than 200 cars “on the green,” a German food, beer and wine tent plus live entertainment.

Oktoberfest returns to the Pali Golf Course once again for the Third Annual Okakopa Hoolaulea. Set for Saturday, October 25, the event will feature a car show of Oahu’s finest vehicles, a food tent with German food, beer and wine and live entertainment in the Fatboy’s Fairway Bistro. Local automobile dealers, automotive vendors, car clubs and other organizations also support and help stage the festival.

The primary purpose of Okakopa Hoolaulea is to raise money for local Hawaii public school programs and projects that are “under the radar” and have difficulty obtaining funding. Previous beneficiaries have been Nanakuli and Kahuku High schools.

This event is free to the public. Donations to support a selected Oahu public school program will be welcome. Vistors will be able to vote for their three favorite vehicles for the People’s Choice Awards.

The event also provides Hawaii car clubs an opportunity to promote their organizations, showcase their programs and to promote membership. Hawaii car clubs who have participated in previous shows include the Porsche Club, Team BMW, Edition 808, British Car Club, Edition 808, Team Foreign Objects, Volkswagen Club and the Mercedes-Benz Club. The all new Tesla Club, and from the good ol’ USA, the Aloha Mustang & Shelby Club will also participate for the first time at Oktoberfest this year. Additionally, we will have a great display of pre and post WWII vehicles from the Antique Automobile Club of Hawaii and a selection of high-end machines from the Pacific Supercar Club!

The Third Annual Okakopa Hoolaulea has grown to become the premier auto event in Hawaii. The Mercedes-Benz Club of America Hawaii Section hosts and produces the event with the help of other Hawaii car clubs. Fatboy’s Fairway Bistro is the primary sponsor of the one-day event.

Drivers who wish to enter their vehicles in the awards competition will be able to enter a car or motorcycle for a donation. The requested donation is $15 per vehicle for the People’s Choice Awards and $25 per vehicle for the Relaxed-Rules Concours. The online registration deadline is October 15.
